Settings Configuration

POSify allows users to configure certain settings, which affect the POSify POS app.

POS tile settings​

These settings modify POSify's POS app tile:

  • Tile title: This updates the title of the POSify POS smart grid app tile
  • Tile subtitle: This updates the subtitle of the POSify POS smart grid app tile
  • Show required fields alert: Enabling this setting will warn the user when there are required cart/product fields that are missing data - see the Required fields alert guide for further instructions

POS app settings​

These settings modify the functionality of the POSify POS app:

  • Default tab: This tab will be pre-selected when the POSify POS app opens
  • Display product images: This setting determines whether to display product and variant images in the POSify POS app
  • Allow out of stock sales: This setting allows you to customize out of stock products/variants in the POSify POS app
  • Group cart tab products: By default, if there are products in the cart with a quantity greater than 1, they will be listed in the cart tab as individual products - toggle this setting to group products together (this can also be toggled from the cart tab)
  • Allow cart fields to be applied automatically: This setting will add a new checkbox to cart fields, allow the default value to be applied automatically in the POS cart - see the Automatically applying fields guide for further instructions
  • Persist app after submit: Setting this to true will keep the POSify POS app open after customizing the cart, or adding a customized product to the cart

Fee Settings​

These settings modify the fee functionality of the POSify Shopify Admin and POS app:

  • Enable fees: Toggle this setting to enable fees in the POSify POS app - see the Adding customization fees guide for further instructions

Receipt settings​

Changing the format and style of custom information on POS and email receipts requires custom coding - if you need assistance, feel free to reach out to us at apps@21orange.com — we’ll be happy to help!

These settings modify the POS receipts:

  • Allow customization fields to be hidden from receipts: This will add a new checkbox to the customization option field builder allowing that option to be hidden from receipts - please contact us to enable this option, as it requires custom coding
